Strathfield opening
Despite the horrid weather, we had a very good opening at the McGlade Gallery at Catholic University in Strathfield this afternoon. There was heaps of food and wine. The speeches by Diana Thomas and Kirry Toose were excellent. And the artwork was duly admired.
Kirry quoted Guillame Apollinaire
“Come to the edge.
We can't. We're afraid.
Come to the edge
We can't. We will fall!
Come to the edge.
And they came.
And he pushed them.
And they flew.”
